Meet Whiskers, the Webkinz on top of A's head. He is her best friend. He even sleeps on her head, just like her Aunt Joanie's pup. Last week, we had to make a quick run to Wal-Mart so A begged to bring Whiskers along as a field trip. When I was checking out, they went to the kid's play area. I paid, we left. At bedtime (7 hours later!) she discovered that she had left Whiskers in the play area! I knew he was gone. (Come on ladies, you know our Wal-Mart!) She was hysterical. J was still at work, but I decided to run over and see if he was still there. As I left I could hear her just weeping and sobbing as she prayed that Heavenly Father would keep Whiskers safe for her, and all I could think was that this was going to be bad.... really bad! I searched the area... nothing. I asked at customer service and some wonderful person had turned him in. She just cried and hugged him when I brought him home. Sometimes miracles do happen. I'm still in shock.

what a cool story! I bet A thinks you're the best mom ever now...plus what a cool testimony building experience for a little tyke.
Wow, that is all I have to say about that. Glad that you are feeling better.
Thanks for the comment! I lurk on on blogs all the time! haha Sorry I've never left a comment for you. Your photos are amazing! I'm going to have to try the peach version of the smoothie. Sounds good! Peaches are my favorite!
Yeah! It's good to know there are still good people out in the world, even at Wal Mart. Glad Whiskers is back home safe where he belongs.
Tyler has a froggie she carries around with her everywhere and I have 3 of them! just in case one ever got lost.
Way to go super mom!
Ah, a girl and her Webkinz!!! So glad someone was honest enough to turn it in and she was faithful enough to know her prayer would be answered!
Your story reminded me of a post on my blog called "a Tender Mercy". Your story was definitely a "tender mercy"
