We Have Been Taught In Our Youth....

T-man went on his first overnight camp out. Being that I'm a bit OCD I made him put up the tent and take it down a few times in the backyard, just to make sure he could do it. Now you must know, that I do not believe in reading instructions. I showed him how to put it up and told him to do it exactly the way I showed him.

WELL....his scout leader was looking at his tent and realized that T needed to cross the poles. He told him. T said, "My Mom told me to do it EXACTLY the way she showed me." They went back and forth for a bit. I really can just hear him, "My Mom said to do it EXACTLY like this..." He did end up changing the poles once he saw the picture on the tent that showed the poles crossed. UG.(I'm a bit embarrassed at my tent skillz...) Maybe he will stop believing me that he can't date until he's 30 now....

Maybe I should start reading instructions....

How embarassing! I'm an instruction reader. But only because Justin put Jayden's crib together wrong and I've never recovered.
