Broken...

So my computer died a week and a half ago. We thought it was the motherboard, but no, it's the hard drive. This means all of my raw photo files....gone. All of my editing actions....gone. My editing software....gone. I'm so crying right now!!!

Where's the chocolate?

That's terrible! At least you saved quite a few of your photos to cd right? If you want my cd copy of the photos you've taken..i'll hand them over! I would totally be bawling. I'm crying myself because my digital camera is broken.

Been there, done that...twice!

Now I'm even more vigilant in backing everything up at least once a year, usually more.

So sorry, I feel your pain.

I feel for you...this happen to us a few years ago with a NEW computer, we lost all our pictures and ever since, I make CD's and copies of EVERYTHING now! I feel so bad for you, I hope you can get some of it back. You might want to try one of those computer DR places, maybe they can get some of the info for you. Good luck.

There are no words to express what I am feeling for you right now .... Have you tried a HD recovery company? It's amazing what they can salvage sometimes. Tears being shed for the very thought of what you are going through :(

Oh my gosh is that your computer? I hope not! It sucks to have to buy something like that right before Christmas. We are so reliant on computers now. What would we do for fun if we couldn't blog??!!

I got your order. I hear ya about stuff breaking and not being able to get what you want...story of our 2008 lifestyle. I would LOVE to watch putters for thanksgiving. How's the potty training been? I will be watching the first grade guinea pig (rusty) too...fun fun! It'll be petting zoo time at Rochelle's house.

On a side note, great blog. You've changed it since I've visited last! Love it.
