My Newly Acquired Guns

Last week was rotten. I'll give it to you straight. It began with me trying to shut the blinds at my Bishop's house. I gave a little tug and the whole thing ripped right off the wall. (Of course I was there by myself so there is no witness to my gentle tug, but it's true, I tell you!) I left them a note saying that my newly acquired guns must be stronger than their girlie blind cord. (P90X people... You'll either be fit or dead.)

That same night I went to pick T up from scouts and A decided to come along with me. I got to the church, picked up the boys, and drove home. When I pulled in the garage T asked where A was. To my horror I realized that, yes, I had left her at the church.

The next day was short day at the kids school. I forgot! T had to call and tell me that he was in the office waiting for me to pick him up. Where is my brain here???

The kicker was when I made a flyer for all of the YW Presidents in the Stake. Sent it out. Then got an e-mail telling me that I had put the wrong day. SO I made another flyer, sent out another e-mail, done, right?! WRONG! Got an e-mail back asking where the attachment was. I didn't atttach it. SO I sent out a third e-mail, along with what remained of my pride, and called it good.

In looking back, I do find all of these thing pretty funny, but it didn't really seem so at the time. I'm glad I only have these weeks occationally!

Glad to know that others suffer as I do at times. Not trying to find joy in your rotten week...but its nice to know I'm NOT the only one. Hope this week is better.

Well if it helps, it makes me sound a little more normal! I've done some of the same things! Crazy! I usually do it when I'm prego. . . so I have a good excuse.

My husband swears by P90X and is trying to get me to do it. Your results are awesome. I think I'm going to have to commit!
