(She's looking more and more LDS every day!) Just kidding...
When we pulled in around 1:30 the parking lot was nearly empty. As we walked in I noticed one sign that said they closed at 2:00, and another that said 4:00. Figuring that they would say something if they really did close in 30 minutes, we went about our visit. After checking out a few of the animals, we hit the little splash park. Can't even tell you how good it felt!
The water turned off about the time it was 2:00, but there were a few people wandering, so we wandered. We ended up at a totally awesome splash park by ourselves.
We played for over an hour.
Again, by OURSELVES! I would guess 20 zoo employees or so wandered by, but said nothing.
If this last picture doesn't make you laugh, then you just don't get boys and their potty humor... I thought he was pretty funny...
Finally, about 3:40 a lady drove by and said, "Did you know the zoo closed at 2:00?" Well, we really DIDN'T know....
BEST DAY EVER AT THE ZOO!!!

I guess he really had to go. I almost said something about her horns on facebook! Loved it!
yeah, the horns are funny. I think they close early because they do Zoo nights on the weekend, you can go when it is dark and still 108 degrees.
I take it you used your free kids zoo pass. I love the last picture! A is starting to look more like you, especially with her facial expressions.
