T got his first calling last Sunday. He was asked to be the 1st Councilor in the Deacon's quorum. He pulled me aside so he could tell me. He was so excited! Then he says, "So when Bishop M isn't here, that means I'm in charge!?? I'm thinking, "I don't think so..." Well after some clarification I realize that T thinks the Bishop is the quorum president, but it's really the Bishop's son... We got that cleared up. I was quite impressed that he wanted to be in charge of the entire ward when the Bishop wasn't around and he was still smiling about it!
The next day before school he told me that this new calling would be good training for him. I agreed. Then he says, "Yeah, just in case I turn into one of the Twelve Apostles."
Think big buddy..... Think big!
