Joy in Service

Our Tri-Stake Youth Conference is coming up November 13th and 14th. The young women that I work with are organizing the service project. We have 300+ kids coming. We need to keep them busy, do something that reaches OUTSIDE of our church walls, and is meaningful to them. SO...we are making baby blankets to donate to West Valley Labor and Delivery.

Honestly, I've been freaking out. To make this work, we need at least 300 yards of material...

...donated material.

I put an ad on Craigslist just for fun. I had a lady contact me that just moved here and she has boxes of children's fabric that she used to sell in a specialty shop! AND she wants to donate 200 matched up yards!

Well, this helps my blood pressure, acne, and my prayers! I don't have it in my hands yet, so I can't really count it until I do, but I am so touched by her generosity.

Miracles do happen!

But I can't promise that I won't be highly stressed until after November 14th...
