A's Birthday Bash

A's birthday snuck up on me this year. (Just like it did last year!) My saving grace was a wonderful friend who remembered and made a cake for A and brought it by right as we were finishing dinner. I can't even tell you how much this meant to me....and A! Thanks M!!!!!! (and K!)

I'll have you know that the maker of this cake is 11 and could have a great career ahead of her, if she so chooses...

We made these cupcakes. LOADS of fun, but the chocolate frosting was a bit messy!



We played a game I made up called, High Speed Fashion Model. Gave the girls a bag of dress-ups and then timed them as they got dressed up, then they had to pose for the camera.



They hated it!



None of them like to pose.



Really, they had a terrible time!



I mean really, they are TOO OLD and MATURE to play dress-up.



Then again, maybe not!
