In A Jam

When completely stopped on the highway for 1 1/2 hours you get to thinking about things...

I am thankful for that car that always has a football to be tossed when in this exact situation. I am not thankful for the handful of people that had to use the facilities when there are only a few scattered bushes, here and there. I am thankful for people who dance around in their cars and act like clowns, providing me free entertainment. I am not thankful for those who try to weave through parked traffic. I am thankful that they don't get anywhere. (evil laughter mwaa ha ha!) I am thankful that the driver behind me paid attention. (Unlike the guy two cars ahead of me that hit the car in front of him.) Why is it that when you finally get through it all and there is not a trace of evidence to show why we were stopped for so long?

All I can say is thank goodness for the giant bag of Peanut Butter M&M's, my burrito from Alfonso's in Camp Verde, my cell phone, and a daughter who makes the best of the situation, instead of making it worse.
