The kids were out of school this week, so I finally got to take them to Woods Hole. Sadly, Jerry had to work, but we'll be heading back in a month or two.

I spent a summer back when I was 16 as an intern for Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute (WHOI). I fell in love with this little area.

Not very busy this time of year...which will change in the summer!

I could just look at the water all day long!

A BIG THANK YOU to Bruce, my boss...all those years ago. He arranged for us to tour the lab where I used to work, which hadn't changed much either. I was ready to hop in and start working again.

He gave us all a tour and let the kids see what they were working on.

They thought that was cool, especially looking at the zebra fish as they were in different stages of development.

Then we wandered around for a few hours. Played at the beach, and walked through the aquarium.

Then back to the beach...

Can't get enough of the beach....
