Flooding and Closed Roads

Much to my great pleasure I discovered that they closed the road to Lancaster today.


I was on my way to buy some apples at Bolton Orchards and saw the sign.


Since no cars could drive on the usually BUSY road, I left my car in the Bolton Orchard's parking lot, grabbed my camera and took a nice 2 mile walk along the flooded road.


Found a few things to take pictures of.


Almost stepped on Mr. & Mrs. Beaver who were cuddling in their nest. Tried to get closer, but they dove in and swam away.


I absolutely LOVE to drive down this road. Can't wait to see what these trees do in the spring. Who knows, it could be coming?!

Now how can I arrange for it to get flooded once a season?!
