Welcome to Carlo's Bake Shop in Hoboken, New Jersey! Yes, this has been on our bucket list since we moved East. We stopped here on our way back from our cruise....I'll get to that in the next few posts. I'm waving at you if you look closely at the reflection in the door. HI! (With my whole hand, just in case if you thought it was only one finger....whole hand!)
I'm guessing they are much busier when they are filming, because it was pretty quiet when we stopped.
We did not see anyone from the show in the bakery. AND none of the people working there even had the "New Jersey" accent! WHAT?
If you ever get the chance to hear Abby's imitation of Mary, it's HILARIOUS! But she won't just do it for anyone...
We did see some people from our cruise ship there. I thought that was very random.
Abby got the crumb cake. She wasn't very excited about it at all... ;)
Trev went with the chocolate covered strawberry. As you can see, he ate it before I could even snap a picture. He was quite pleased with himself.
And I got this chocolate truffle with a raspberry thing. It's a bit larger than a cupcake and it was divine!
I won't even tell you how much we paid in tolls to get there.... AND after driving around on the roads in Hoboken, I have no idea how they make it anywhere without destroying those cakes. Talk about pot holes! They can swallow your whole car!
BUT it was completely worth it.

I LOVE Cake Boss! I totally want a Cannoli every time I watch! Congrats on getting a bucket list item crossed off!
Mike's Pasteries in the North End of Boston has chocolate mousse cannoli's to DIE for.... I didn't want to mess with that.

Yummy!!! That would be on my bucket list too!! And excellent choice in the chocolate raspberry truffle. I loved this post.
