Our First Garden

Since we aren't going to Utah this summer, we decided to plant a garden. For FHE we started some seedlings. I really didn't expect them to grow, but much to my surprise, they are doing well.
Trev and I built the raised bed. It only took us about an hour. It's only level on two sides, but I'm good with that.
We got some mulch/compost/super soil from Agway. It's supposed to be super fantastic for growing veggies. Sadly, I am challenged at calculating how much dirt we really needed. Let's just say I could have built three of these and filled them all up.
I tried to borrow a wheel barrel, but my neighbor wasn't home. SO Abby came up with the idea of using sleds.
This has been a lot of work.
The best part was when Jerry was shoveling, the kids hauling dirt back and forth, and me taking pictures.
