Our Middle School has been working on the production of OZ for the last few months. These kids have done so well and opening night will finally be here on Friday! I can't wait!!! Rehearsal last night was fantastic and I am so proud of all of these guys. BREAK A LEG!
Abby is the scarecrow. She is awesome. She is amazing. She sings like a songbird. I watch her on stage and I could not be more proud.
Emily plays Dorothy, and she is seriously the nicest girl. She has really spent a lot of time building up the younger kids in the play. They love her and follow her everywhere, like her own fan club.
Laura is Toto, and I am so impressed with how well she had gotten into character. Carson is the Tin Woodsman and Cam is the Lion, both really nice boys. They have struggles with the singing and dancing, but have really pulled it together.
It's so fun to watch them rehearse now that they are all friends.
AND I've been a bit busy designing the ads, t-shirts, break~a~legs, playbills, photographing the cast, building a fireplace, telescope, witch legs, steam-punk heart, diploma, etc..... I think I will need a vacation when this is over. But it is so worth it to work with these awesome kids.
