Woke up this morning and noticed this on the back of my van. That's the window. Guess....
Just guess what that is....
Jerry and I went on a lovely 2 1/2 mile hike behind our neighbor's house. We saw quite a few of these guys. They blend right in with the leaves, so the person in front scares them and the person behind gets to see the frogs.
It was very beautiful. Reminded me of an enchanted forest.
Amazingly enough, we each ended up with exactly the same number of these. Six each!
That would be 12 total.
Not the cartoon tick.
The deer kind.
A small one had gone right through my tube sock and was chewing on my ancle.
Now I'm itchy.
And I think there are ticks climbing all over me.
Ick!
And I did NOT wait to take pictures.

Ah, ticks. They love us. We don't love them.
Too bad we can't take anti-tick pills like the dogs do...
