Washington DC...check
This trip has been on our bucket list since we moved to Massachusetts.
I can't even begin to describe DC. It was amazing!
It is beautiful, historical, friendly, HUGE, easy to get around...
Fantastic food, incredible architecture, so much character.
We spend three days and barely skimmed the surface.
The mall was just incredible.
See that "large parking lot". That would be the reflection pool. But it's empty. I couldn't figure out why nobody was parking there. Duh!
Very, very moving. Stirs up those emotions that we tend to forget sometimes.
